Learn to use SilverStripe CMS to create and manage pages on your website. Create news and events, set up users and manage their permissions. Upload and manage images, documents, and other assets.
 
Elasticsearch basics for developers  Monday 1 July - 1 day - $760 (ex gst)
This course is aimed at developers who have little or no exposure to Elasticsearch, and want to learn about the fundamentals to design and build applications that leverage it.  It focuses on understanding the APIs and how they work together, but also providing insights into Elasticsearch internals when required.
 
Introduction to Ansible  - Tuesday 2 & Wednesday 3 July - 2 day - $1,520 (ex gst)
You will learn to install Ansible and use it to run commands on remote servers. You will progress to writing playbooks to automate the creation of cloud resources and the configuration of Linux servers.

Shell scripts are a cornerstone in modern software systems. They also break easily and in strange ways, like when August comes around or a filename starts with a hyphen. This course covers common pitfalls and use cases, enabling you to efficiently and effectively understand and modify complex shell scripts.

If you want to learn how to use Puppet for configuration management and automation, or you've been put in charge of an established Puppet infrastructure, this is the course for you. This course is suitable for complete beginners and those with very limited experience – we run other courses for more experienced users.
 
HTML / CSS Introduction  - Thursday 18 July - half day - $380 (ex gst)
Come and learn about HTML and CSS, the building blocks of the web, with us. We'll start with very simple stuff and work our way up. By the end, you'll have styled your own webpage.  We'll teach you to read and write some HTML and CSS and you'll have a grasp of some of the slightly less obvious underlying concepts.
 
Kubernetes introduction  - Friday 19 July - one day - $380 (ex gst)
Kubernetes is a mature orchestration platform with over a decade of development behind it.  This workshop provides a hands-on introduction to Kubernetes. We explore a typical workflow developing a containerised application and deploying it to a Kubernetes cluster in the cloud. Along the way we will get hands on experience interacting with the Kubernetes.
 
Koha Librarians workshop  - Monday 22 July - 1 day - $650 (ex gst)
Sometimes Koha librarians say to us, "We've been using Koha for a while now, and we want to do more, but we don't know what we don't know".   This course is aimed at those people.  It's 'advanced' Koha user training.
 
Web Accessibility - WCAG 2.0 training  - Tuesday 23 July - 1 day - $760 (ex gst)  
This course will help you understand web accessibility and the techniques used to make accessible content. We will also cover WCAG 2.0 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) and ways to test for and achieve level AA compliance.
 
Django Introduction - Wednesday 24 July - 1 day - $760 (ex gst)
Django is known as 'The Web framework for perfectionists with deadlines'. Django aims to be the '90%' framework. That is, for 90% of website projects it is unambiguously the 'Right Tool for the Job'. Django's design is strongly influenced by DRY principles (Don't Repeat Yourself).

This course will examine the role of the Product Owner and explore the different relationships required with end users, customers, business stakeholders and those building the product.
Everyone who completes this course becomes an ICAgile Certified Professional in Business Value Analysis.

This course teaches you everything you need to know to use your Linux server.
