Catalyst, the New Zealand-based, global open source company, today announced that Sara Brownlie has agreed to join the Catalyst board as an external director.
“Catalyst has grown significantly in the last several years, and our business has evolved and become more complex, with international branches and the move of the Catalyst Cloud to a standalone company within the group."
“Appointing an external director was the logical step in helping us manage the challenges and opportunities that this growth brings", said Mike O’Connor, Chairman of the Catalyst board.
“Sara has been working with us as a consultant over the last year and she has impressed us all with her strategic insights and her grasp of our complex operating environment. We are thrilled to be able to have her now join our board.”
Sara has over twenty years experience in the New Zealand public sector across a range of roles in strategic and operational finance, performance and data analysis, ministerial support and project/programme management.
She is a member of the Institute of Directors, and the Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand and a Fellow of CPA Australia.
Sara will join the five owners and directors in governing the Catalyst group through its next phase of growth.
“I am excited and proud to be joining the Catalyst board as we implement a strategy focussed on delivering innovative smart technology solutions to our customers,” said Sara Brownlie.
