Catalyst IT is a global team of skilled open source technologists. We specialise in developing, designing and supporting enterprise-grade systems using open source technologies.
We are looking for a Sales Support person to join us in our Auckland office. In this role you will support the Business Development Manager by:
- Calling new and existing customer contacts (as provided by the BDM) to secure follow-up meetings/discussions and scheduling these meetings.
- Drafting and delivering follow-up communications from sales meetings.
- Helping plan and attend events, conferences and meet-ups to promote Catalyst's products and services, increase brand awareness and generate potential leads.
- Ensuring Catalyst's sales pipeline management tool is regularly updated with the details and status of all sales activities.
This support role will suit an organised and motivated candidate, with strong interpersonal communications skills (written and oral) and a demonstrated interest in technology products and services. As your knowledge of and confidence in our base products and service offering grows, there will be the opportunity to work alongside the BDM in taking on direct ownership of sales opportunities toward a full business development/account management role.
