Twenty-three students completed the fifth annual Open Source Academy successfully on 16 January 2015. The students spent two weeks at Catalyst learning about programming, server administration as well as other activities that are necessary to deliver a software project.
The second annual Mahara Hui, the New Zealand conference for Mahara users and developers, will take place in Auckland from 8 to 10 April 2015. Catalyst and the Centre for Learning And Teaching of AUT University are organising the event together.
Since Monday 5 January 2015, twenty-three Year 11 to 13 students from Wellington, Auckland, the Waikato and Christchurch have been immersed in the Open Source Academy at Catalyst House in Wellington.
